Something to look forward to!
It's time to access your higher wisdom. We have never needed it more.
Rest… or action?
Compassion… or justice? Forgiveness or accountability? Gratitude or generosity?
We don’t have to choose between these seeming opposites, or even find a balanced compromise between them. We can learn how to hold both, and in so doing, open ourselves to a higher wisdom.
Jewish tradition teaches that two truths that seem to be mutually exclusive can, paradoxically, at the same time both be true. By recognizing this, we can expand our consciousness and open ourselves to deeper truths. I wrote about how this can be an Antidote to Polarization in 2021, and it still feels critically important to me today.
To explore this more deeply, G-d willing I'll be teaching a unique new class for Ritualwell for four weeks starting November 12. We will practice holding the tension of opposites by growing into soul qualities that come in opposite pairs. We will enrich our souls and expand our capacity to access deeper truth in four sessions, focusing on:
Session 1: Rest and Action
Session 2: Compassion and Justice
Session 3: Forgiveness and Accountability
Session 4: Generosity (Giving) and Gratitude (Receiving)
I’ve designed the class to be fun, engaging, and enriching. We'll learn Jewish texts, do introspective journaling, experience guided meditation, deepen our awareness between sessions, and share our experiences as we grow as a group.
November 12 is in just 13 days, but we have a long journey ahead of us between now and then. By the time we reach that day, I suspect we will all be in need of some nourishment for our souls. Put this in place now to support yourself. It will be something you can look forward to.
Most of my recent classes have been designed for women, but this class is available for both men and women of all levels of Jewish knowledge, practice and background.
If you think starting on November 12 you might be seeking to enrich your soul, widen your consciousness, and strengthen your ability to hold multiple truths at the same time, please join me! I can’t wait to share the conversation with you.

P.P.S. Cyberspace being what it is, this email may have been flagged as spam in your inbox. I promise, it's really me, trying to find and share higher wisdom, like usual. (No bot would know that but you do, right?) I wish people could take accountable before they send a text. I also wish people could be mindful when they send a text. My coworker tells me to text her when I get home.
